The office has been a busy place this year, and we’re pleased to have welcomed some new faces!
As ever, 2017 has seen a great range of projects cross our desks. From design, web development and content to fully-outsourced marketing projects, we’ve been busy producing work to a fantastic standard for local, national and international clients.
We’re really proud of everything we do, but here are a few of our highlights from the year so you can see what we’ve been up to!
Some of our favourite projects are those where we’re involved right from the start, creating distinctive brands that really speak to their target audiences. We’ve recently worked with Lucence, a manufacturer of stunning illuminated signage, to get their business off the ground. Find out how!
In August, we were pleased to welcome Chris to CRE8 for some work experience. A student at Pendleton College, Chris was looking for some real-life experience in the workplace and we were pleased to help him out, showing him the ropes and getting him involved in our daily office life.
Excitement is building in the office this week ahead of Leigh Expo on Friday (24th June)!
The Expo, which takes place annually at Leigh Sports Village stadium, is a great opportunity for local businesses to introduce their brands to a wide audience and we’re proud to have worked with some of this year’s exhibitors to create displays which really stand out.
Each year, we support Westleigh High School’s World of Work day, running workshops with Year 9 students about the creative media industry and our roles at CRE8.
During the day, students have the opportunity to attend a number of different sessions across a range of topics such as education, public services, cookery and law. It’s a great way for them to focus on what they may look to do in future and identify the subjects they will need to study at GCSE.
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to join our established and growing marketing agency based in Leigh, Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to start a marketing career, with real responsibility and potential to progress to a permanent role at the end of your apprenticeship.
Happy new year! January is always a great time for forward planning and focusing on long-term growth for your business – but do you have the time and resources to do so?
Following on from our involvement with their Y11 mock interview day, I’ve been back to Westleigh High School to give some students a bit of extra help with putting together personal statements on college and job applications.
Facing a blank piece of paper and having to write about yourself can be quite daunting, so I took along some tips to guide students on how to structure a statement and some content ideas. A personal statement is essentially a marketing pitch for yourself so it needs to convey a positive image, be well-composed and persuasive. Preparing something similar? Here’s my recommended structure and some pointers on content to get you started:
It’s no secret that we at CRE8 Towers love a bit of cake. Chocolate fudge cake, Victoria sandwich, banana loaf, cake acquired from…well…anywhere – we’re not fussy, we love it all.
Now we’ve reached the end of 2015, Vicki’s got the scales out again to make a fragrant, lightly-spiced Christmas cake which last year wowed everyone (the inside anyway – she’s no cake decorator) and it’s got us thinking…
