Your Marketing Goodguys: Our Story
Early beginnings
Paul started the business, freelancing in graphic and web design from his home office (back bedroom!).
We start to grow
Paul’s busy by now, working with local clients including several local schools. He decided to grow, moving into an office in Leigh and registering a limited company. Jordan joined in October as an apprentice Developer.
Two become three
We rearranged our office making room for Jonathan, who joined us as a graduate graphic designer from Salford University. Jordan finished his apprenticeship and stayed with us as our front end web developer.
Bigger and better
In October, we moved into Acorn Court where we had more room to grow. Our portfolio was developing, incorporating design and web work for many local schools and small local businesses.
Getting organised
Lauren, our administrator and office manager started in March, freeing up some of Paul’s time which enabled us to offer our clients a greater range of strategic marketing services.
Finding the words
Marketing Manager Vicki started in September. Previously our freelance copywriter, ‘VG’ supports our clients with content creation, branding and marketing, and coordinates our Marketing Manager 360 services.
Going international
CRE8 goes international! Our first overseas client came on board in 2016, giving us an exciting new foothold in the UAE.
Growing graphic design
In September, Nathan joined us as our Apprentice Graphic Designer, lending Jonathan a hand and learning the tricks of the trade to produce some great graphics for print, digital and social.
Introducing Marketing Manager 360
Marketing Manager 360 really grew, and we’re pleased to be working closely with more clients more regularly to deliver a full range of marketing and creative services that achieve outcomes!
Expanding our office
We moved into Offices 1 & 2, combining them to create a much larger space which gives us room to creatively plan our projects, to set aside quiet spaces and to form a welcoming client area – luckily, still overlooking plenty of greenery and the canal!
Rebranding for the future
Nathan finished his apprenticeship with flying colours, and we (finally!) launched our own rebrand to really communicate the story of who we are, what we believe in and how we help our clients.
